Question: So what is TFB all about?
TFB is all about having fun and doing so in an environment which is cool, stimulating, and kinda off-the-wall. The rooms and themes at TFB are constructed to be a kind of "alternate reality" where people can visit, have fun, and be creative. We promote creativity, fun, entertainment, and craziness.
Question: So what kind of people frequent TFB?
Lots of different kinds! We have a following of mostly college-aged people, generally ranging from 17-25, but we have users as young as 13 and as old as 40 or 50. Most of the people are students or people who have just recently gotten out of school. Many are computer enthusiasts, and conversation often reflects this.
Question: So what do people talk about?
All sorts of things. The conversation is often sprinkled with subjects about computers, college life, jobs, homework, and other topics. We talk about life, friends, issues, new things, life, and other general topics. We get crazy, be silly, tickle each other, etc. It's wild and crazy, but most of all it's fun, sincere, and happy. We reflect life in general.
Question: Do I have to give away my life history to become a member?
Absolutely not! We're committed to maintaining your privacy here at TFB. We will never ask you to provide personal information, including your real name. However, when you register a new account, you will be asked to submit your current email address. We ask you to provide this to us for a few reasons:
- So we can add you to our mailing list to send out occasional news about TFB concerning server downtimes, parties, events, and new features. The mailings are less than 1 per every two weeks, so it's a minimal mailing list.
- We want to protect our users, and we do not want people who will abuse our talker or our users. By giving us your email address, you give us a way to contact you privately in case we need to.
- Sold
- Distributed to anyone outside of TFB's management
- Viewed by anyone but TFB's management
- Used to solicit products or services
- Used for anything besides news about TFB.
